Old Dutch House

The hospitality and the confort the owner of the Property facilitated us with! OMG, Kingsley uncle was soo nice with his guests, greeting them everytime he meets them, making us feel at home, I din't feel like i was in a Stay, it felt more like a Guest room treatment in a home! I loved this property and Uncle Kingsley and his family, and of course the food - especially the Coconut Stuffed panckakes Aunty has fed us with! I would want to stay here again and again!

This family run guest house is in a great location to explore the fort and surrounding areas. The hosts were lovely, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Air con was ice cold and wifi was video call quality. The restaurant does lovely meals and great coffee. Highly recommend if you are looking for a budget friendly stay in Galle.

The old Dutch House is very atmospheric and in a great central old Fort location. It has a relaxing, peaceful garden area outside the rooms. Thank you so much to Kingsley and his family who are very helpful, warm, welcoming and smiley. I really enjoyed my stay and will be back next time!

Dated and common areas were messy

Great location and amazing welcoming staff who helped us figure out a bus to Mirissa at the end of our stay. Food was really good and the room was clean and comfortable.
