Grange Lodge

Grange Lodge is beautiful, both inside and out. It is in a quiet location, but near enough to the city centre to not be a problem. Love the, booking in process, quick and easy. Would recommend.

The only little bug bear was no seating at the front, for me to vape on lol

Accessibility to York centre, well within walking reach. Location quiet and room comfortable

Small things like the kettle didn’t fit under the tap. We just filled up cups provided to fill it. Wasn’t a real problem. Also there was only one chair to sit on. Again not the end of the world. Stops it being a 9/10 Despite this we enjoyed our stay

Great location, for anyone wishing to stay and arriving on the train the property is within walking distance, have a look via google maps and you will see a shortcut through the back of the station over the bridge and past the car park and you're nearly there. York centre is 5 to 10 minutes from the property. Property was nice and clean, it is a self check in guest house and the instructions were clear and concise and worked well. I stayed in the single room number 4 and it was great value for money. Would recommend.

The workers onsite were very helpful I am in my 70s and they helped me with my luggage up the stairs

Could perhaps do with a microwave on the top of the cabinet then the kettle on the top

It was clean, tidy, easy access to town centre & very good value for money & the staff were polite and helpful.
