Location is out of this world! North shore, close to the open air venue we was visiting. Also close by was peasholm park and the sea life centre, both of which we visited and thoroughly enjoyed! We was lucky enough to get a sea view room, and we were on the 3rd floor, and what a sea view!! The entire north shore was visible, with the sea life centre and the northernmost point of the bay, to the castle standing proudly over Scarborough to the south. Beautiful! Staff were great , very friendly and professional, and the breakfast was unbelievably tasty! Very good to start the day! Thanks all!

Perhaps the only downside, and it isnt anyones fault due to the age of the building, would be the lack of a lift, but this wasn't a massive issue. Maybe for older or more mobility challenged guests this may become a problem.

The staff were all so helpful and did more for us than they needed. They were very friendly. Great breakfast. Location was terrific with great views and easy to get into town. Quiet. Scarborough was a lovely town to visit with lovely sea views.

The bedding was very clean, also the toilet and shower was very clean as well. The location is not bad for a couple, is quiet and beautiful view if you have the correct room. The staff was very polite and kind especially Lynn.

The cleaning in the room was very poorly made before our arrival, the carpets were full of stains and dirty from previous stays, and there was no fridge which is a need to have in this hot weather. The windows weren't cleaned in my opinion for over a year and were full of spider webs. There is no aircon just a small ventilator and the windows can be opened only 1 inch which is not enough for the air at least to circulate doesn't say to collect down the room. The room is very small for two people. The kettle is small. Everything in this room is made for high profit and low cost. It is not for middle-aged or older persons because it is in the attic with very steep stairs.
