Jestine Homestay

I can’t recommend this homestay enough! The hosts were so welcoming and kind, they offered us tea and cold fresh fruit on arrival. The property is in a great location, walking distance to all the main areas.

Room was ok - but not cheap! Sheela prepared tea for us as we came and Vincent helped getting my shoes repaired!

Our host was exceptionally kind and helpful. I could not ask for a better Homestay owner. Stay here for this reason alone. The location is fantastic.

The only thing I can think of would be to consider adding air conditioning in the future. But for the value you cannot complain. No true negatives.

1) Very good location. With the heat, I recommend staying as close as possible to the center of Fort Kochi, which starts 2 blocks from here! 2) Absolutely beautiful to be in the heart of the city but surrounded by nature! It's green all around the place, which makes you feel like you're in the countryside, but you still can walk everywhere! 3) The common area upstairs was very pleasant, with a "garden view". 4) I didn't need to work, but the wifi seemed pretty good. I assume it would handle a video call. 5) The family was nice. For the price of half a night, Vincent let us use his own room for a late check-out at 5pm.

Just to say something, there were an incredible number of mosquitoes (like 20 every day) despite mosquito nets everywhere! I had no idea where they came from!
