Really nice people, really clean and comfortable room with private entrance

A bit outside the heart of the center but very close, unfortunately they don't speak english but it is fine

This homestay is hosted by a sweet and attentive couple. The location is walkable distance to most tourist spots in Fort Kochi. Highly recommend. I found it to be a safe space as a solo traveler.

Liked the staff and their behaviour towards us. They are so good and so sweet .

The room was very very small. The bathroom toilet had a yuk smell . Bathroom is very small. Toilet had some sort of fusty smell. A very bad pungent smell. And the fan had only 2 speed.

Sheila and Vincent are wonderful hosts. They want to make sure you have everything you need and welcome you into their home like their own children. We loved having time to have a chat over a coffee and cake that they offered and learn about their lives. Although they are just beginning to learn English, they make themselves understood and it is enjoyable to work together to communicate. The room is clean and fresh with a small gas cooking area and balcony. It is very peaceful, not too close to the road but perfectly situated to head into the heart of Fort Kochi. We would definitely stay here again 😊 thank you to such amazing and kind hosts.

It was very nice to stay at Jestine Homestay. We got the feeling that we live in a house with a family, though we had our private space upsstairs. We spend some time chatting (little english, some gestures) and drinking coffe with the hosts and could experience the indian culture at home. They also told us about events happening in the city and showed us the direction. Otherwise we wouldn't have known that these events are happening in the city. Thank you!

The room itself was a little bit small but there was a "living room" just in front of the room we could use.
