Everything was perfect, the staff very welcoming and always eager to help, the inner garden was very relaxing and very quiet, there is no noise from the street at all. You can tell the place has been decorated with style, with wooden furniture and a beautiful garden. The location is also very central. I recommend this place 100% to stay in Dili

If convenience, comfort and reasonable price is what you are looking out for, Casa do Sandalo is the place to stay in Dili. It is centrally located and supermarkets, franchise eateries and sea are within a walking distance. This is a heritage property and its decor is uniquely beautiful, cozy, the robes soft & comfortable. Consistently friendly staff that know the true value of customer and will go extra mile to ensure that you truly feel special. All these small attention will make your experience nothing less than exceptional. I could go on but suffice it to say I was very pleased with my stay. They truly made me feel at home.

I loved staying at Casa do Sandalo. It’s one of the few old Portuguese houses still standing in Dili, making it a unique piece of the Latin world in Asia. If you’re looking for a different experience, this heritage stay is the place to be. It’s not modern, but incredibly cozy, and the staff is very friendly. The highlight for me was the garden and the architecture. Kudos for the owners to restore that old property.
