Luxor Oasis Guest House

Very friendly staff and relaxing environment. Breakfast was really good!

​I very much liked the open space, the pool with waves and lights and comfortable seats near the pool for breakfast. The atmosphere finally was "normal" compared to other places in Luxor. Mohammed - the host - of European culture (at least he knows!) and you are free of whatever you do there! They also have alcoholic drinks and an understanding of freedom. A place which is safe from harassment and financial exploitation at every step - Oasis! I could invite a local friend... ;). Room - large with air-con, clean, en-suite. I've seen families there and groups of friends. If not for my tight sight- seeing schedule I might have stayed the whole day hiding there. The host - really appreciated and welcome to study in Europe soon!

Workers shouting at each other in their own language - sometimes. Not a fan of singing from the Mosque - but this is unavoidable. This accomodation is on the West side of the Nile - there is a ferry to get you to the East side (25 EGP one way). Plenty of private boats to go to other side, even straight to Karnak. Train to Asuan - frequent for 43 US dollars. Do not listen the locals... bargain as much as you can, don't be the ATM machine for them. I had lollies for children but better to have pens.

L'emplacement est correct. La piscine sympa pour se rafraîchir. Et le cocktail de bienvenue très appréciable.

Dans l'ensemble c'est correct. Mais il faudrait proposé de l'eau au petit déjeuner c'est la base l'eau.

Un séjour formidable ! Séjour à 5 avec 3 chambres confortables, avec petit balcon pour déguster un petit café le matin. La piscine est fraîche et agréable. Le petit déjeuner est abondant et très bon. Le personnel est très serviable a disposition, près à vous décrocher la lune ! Ils sont très attachants. La restauration est bonne et il est possible de déguster une petite bière fraîche au bord de la piscine. Nous avons organisé toutes nos visites avec Ibrahim, le gérant de l’établissement, il nous a fait notre programme à la carte, avec guide dans notre langue, en van climatisé, pour découvrir les plus beaux sites de Louxor, le tout avec des prix attractifs. N’hésitez pas à le contacter.. En résumé 4 jours inoubliables. Bravo !

Very nice room, the staff even gave me a room with a private bathroom even though initially I had booked a shared one because they had the extra room!

Water was cold in the shower

La salle de bain de notre chambre avait un problème technique. Nasser, le propriétaire très accueillant, nous a donc relogés dans un studio en face de la guest house. Nous avons apprécié la démarche, la jolie piscine très propre et bien rafraîchissante aussi ! Jus de fruit d'accueil, bon petit déjeuner égyptien. Localisation très proche des restaurants, du quai et à 10min du ferry.

Mohamed Adnany, his brother, and all the staff provided truly excellent service. They were very friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Conversations with them were so enjoyable, and they always did their best to assist us. We felt comfortable and truly valued. Thank you for everything!!

Honestly, there was nothing negative to mention. Everything exceeded our expectations.
