HIDDEN HEAVEN Rumah Barong

Hier 5 nachten geweest en het heerlijk gehad bij Andre zijn accommodatie, zoals er eerder geschreven is klopt het dat Hidden Heaven enigszins afgelegen ligt maar daar ook doelbewust voor gekozen betekent namelijk ook dat je geniet van de rust en een authentieke belevenis kunt ervaren. Huisje is niet heel groot en heeft een terras. Badkamer is buiten en voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. We hebben een scooter via Andre gehuurd en zijn daar drie dagen mee op pad geweest en de omgeving verkend, vooral de trip naar Black Sand Beach was mooi en rustig wat verkeer betreft. De andere dagen lekker gerelaxt bij het zwembad en huisje. Andre heeft heerlijk gekookt en samen met vriend Kai met ons gegeten. Het was kei gezellig, erg leuke gesprekken en veel gelachen. Het ontbijt was lekker en goed verzorgd. Mochten wij nog eens terugkomen op Bali dan gaan we zeker een paar dagen terug naar Hidden Heaven. Ellen en Niek.

Everything, this is a unique and exclusive property, one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, the attention to detail, the decoration, the lighting, the music, the welcoming of the host, who is a wonderful cook, everyone should have dinner here at least once, we even played cards together, really feels like home. Don't expect just another stay in a normal accomodation, this is an experience in itself, not for everyone, only for special people who appreciate style.

Nothing to say really, even if the location is a little remote, but that's what we wanted to relax

A 4-day stay at André's place was one of the best travel experiences of our lives. We often stay with small private accommodation providers and this was completely out of the ordinary. We didn't feel like being in a "customer" role. Book a stay here if: - you want to avoid mass tourism - you want to understand the real Bali (at least try to) - you can appreciate excellent ethno cuisine - you can find harmony in an environment mixed of traditional Indonesian culture, modern art and connection with nature - you are not afraid to engage in an open, enlightening conversation with people you just met yesterday Look elsewhere if: - you require a large TV screen in front of your bed - you could get stressed by the sounds of the jungle, contact with animals or insects - you can't imagine that from your holiday accommodation to the nearest restaurant or shop you can only get along a (sometimes) muddy forest road Thank you, André and Kai! We sincerely hope that we will be able to meet again someday.

Can't express how special our stay was,it was more like staying with family in gorgeous surroundings,without the bickering 🤣.We were amazed with the breakfast each morning and the coffee was simply sublime.We were offered dinner cooked by Andre each night and they were perfect.Do yourself a favor and spend a few days here if you get the chance.There is no way you could find better hosts in my honest opinion Thankyou Andre and Kai you rock.
