Million-dollar view! Very friendly staff. Would return.

Some ongoing building is causing a bit of chaos. The breakfast area on the rooftop opened 45 minutes later than advised; luckily, I wasn't in a hurry.

A perfect guesthouse, run by a very kind family. From an unexpected early check-in to the second we left, we loved everything about The Peacock Guesthouse. The view from our room (4th floor) was spectacular, with a big, private, balcony, and nothing was too much trouble for either the owners or their staff. The location is incredible, next to the City Palace, with fantastic views over Lake Pichola, the Taj Lake Palace and Jagmandir, and within walking distance of so many interesting places. The food in the in-house restaurant was so good that we chose to eat there every evening, watching the beautiful sunsets over the lake. Yes, there are a lot of stairs, but they are definitely worth the climb and a lift is planned for the future too. Plus we got to know a number of people living and working locally too. Udaipur is a very friendly city! Thank you to everyone at The Peacock, you all made our stay perfect.

Noise due to central location, lots of steps to get to the top floor

The location was perfect. Everything was 2 minutes walk away. The room was very aesthetic. The host was very polite. The staff was very helpful. There was no unnecessary noise of traffic. Will surely book again with them

The owner of the property is welcoming and made us feel at home. The property is neat and tidy. Rooms are hygienic with a beautiful view of the pake pichola. You get a shared balcony. There's also a rooftop to get a large view of the lake with a restaurant. Owners and staff also asked us in person for feedback and scope of improvement. 10/10 for hospitality Note : All the buildings in the city are quite old so the steps might be narrow. I'd also like to add a point where the gates were locked after 12 AM. We reached the property post 1230 and the owner was attentive to the phone call and kind enough to open the main gates of the building.
