Brilliant breakfast, the restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday so make sure you stay another night also. We also ate in the village and the food was very good there as well

Very very friendly staff, and the food is amazing - the breakfast was great but also do try to book to eat there if you can. The bathroom was spacious and stylish, and it was a very peaceful location with a lovely star-filled sky at night

Dajana and Boris welcomed us like family and we left as friends. We were treated so well, cared and loved...we visited the Lipica stud farm and connected with Dajana's daughter Eva for help in going on a trail ride with one of the gorgeous Lipizzaner horses. This was a dream come true for me and I still have to pinch myself. We met Taja, the eldest daughter as well and found both young women to be amazingly beautiful and kind. Our dinner was exceptional, prepared with love and explained so well by Boris. My broken Italian seemed to help, but Boris and Dajana speak English. The guests were lovely as well and the grounds are so well cared for and loved....it shows in everything. This is a special place.....these are special people....please treat them with respect and kindness, and please GO visit! I'm already wanting to go back and bring my own daughters. The room was perfect, but the highlight was the wonderful five-course dinner. One of the best meals we had during our three weeks in Slovenia.
