La ubicacion. Se puede llegar caminando a los principales puntos turisticos y se encuentra a metros de la estacion de tren. Habitacion muy grande y espaciosa.

"Not romantic but affordable?"

Very close to the main train station and bus stops. Traditional titami flooring in the main room and the beds were also on a raised titami platform. Linen was fresh and felt nice with a bit of texture to it. The old lady at reception was very friendly

It's a bit of a weird place, kind of like staying with your grandparents that have some strange rules and quirks. You need to leave the room key with the front desk when you go out and show them a paper slip to get it back when you return. The air in the room was stale and musty, and I was concerned my mild asthma wouldn't like it. There are signs saying not to open the windows thou, and the extraction fan/ AC unit only does so much to freshen the air. Real shame to be out in fresh mountain air country and have a room with such bad air quality. The hot water for the shower apparently needs the toilet turned on to work. All just feels a bit old and worn around the edges.

We enjoyed our stay! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location great, Main street, with parking and also very close to station/buses. Many Restaurants/konbinis nearby. Room (3 Bed) simple/Basic but has all you need, with Futon beds (a bit hard for us Westeners..), sitting area, fridge etc.; quite large for us three. Lobby for your meals/leisure (playing Jazz!). Good coffee!
