Tambun Sari Beach Homestay

Amazing location right on the beach where you can swim, watch sunset and enjoy the magical view. Putu the host was very kind and hospitable.

Wifi was pretty slow. But who needs the internet when in paradise!

I had a lovely stay. Putu is a lovely and very friendly man. He picked me up from Ubud, and we had a lovely chat the whole way. The accommodation is simple but just what I needed. Comfortable bed, clean room, and I loved waking up every morning opening the blinds and having the gorgeous view of the beach right in front of me. There is also a kettle and coffee and tea supplied. It's a great location. I don't ride a scooter so I was able to walk to many restaurants, the area of the beach that is for snorkling and around the many shops. I think it would be great to have some mosquito wicks as there are lots of mosquitoes but thankfully there is a mosquito net for the bed which was great!

The shower could be cleaner, it works very well but there was grime building up under the stones.

What more could you want but a budget room right on the beach! Very central. Just walk around the corner onto the main street. Authentic experience, surrounded by locals. Amazing clean beach and water. Watch the fishermen every day.

Clean and comfortable stay located in one of the most beautiful locations possible. The room is located right in front of the beach, you take one step outside and there's a full view of Mt Agung right in front of you. The bed was large and comfortable, the room had a mosquito net, good air conditioning, a small fridge with an attached bathroom. The location had lots of warungs and a handful of shops located within walking distance. Fishermen next door can take you to snorkelling spots. Putu, our host was always available for any help and he provides taxi pickup and drop at a reasonable price and also offers to stop by destinations that fall on the way. We had a wonderful time and we'll definitely visit again.

Everything was perfect!

The location is in the center of Amed, with tours, warungs, shops and ATMs within a walking distance, and Jemeluk is also very near. The space was comfortable and I enjoyed the views and relaxing from the front patio. It is definitely a local experience and Putu is a fine host.

I was comfortable with this local experience and would go back, but some people will take issue with the noise mentioned in the comments.

Roosters start at 3 am😩 Not enough towels No housekeeping(but that was ok as I was only there 2 days)

Amazing Property right on the beach. The owner was very attentive and kind. He even drove me to see a few local sites. Highly recommend.

The location was perfect. Directly on the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and bars. You can even snorkel right in front of the property. Absolutely perfect.

Big, comfy bed, good shower, big soft bath towel. Fridge, kettle & water, and a knife/plates/cutlery so I could enjoy local fruits etc. Putu is really lovely, very warm & welcoming, had some nice chats with him & recommended a few places to eat. The place is right on the beach, perfect to sit out with a coffee. As a solo traveller I felt really safe.
