I read in the other comment that there was noise from the dogs and roosters at night and I thought that was ok. Big mistake. The roosters are shouting from 2.30am to 6am right in front of your door along with dogs small fights 1 metre from your door. I couldn’t sleep. Too expensive, you can find cheaper for the same room a few metres away.

The house has everything you need including fridge, water dispenser and a knife and chopping board! The bed was soooo comfy. The host Putu was lovely, very interesting to talk to and learn about local customs and the area. The snorkelling and diving were brilliant!

+directly on a beach +good reliable AC +fridge, plates, basic cutlery, cups +water dispenser with drinking water +close to grocery store and food options +the owner Putu is very kind and nice person +Amed is nice calm location The room is good choice if you plan to do some snorkeling/diving in the area. I wouldn't recommend this location for "beach holiday". There's too much garbage on the beach and it's actually full of fishermen's ships

-the doors were little bit tricky to lock -no hot water during my stay (May 2023) -almost none noise isolation inside of the room. The roosters were regularly yelling shortly after midnight and in the morning around 4am -sometimes it took a few minutes to connect to the wifi -some outside shower would be nice to rinse your feet from the sand

* is right on the beach so amazing sunrises and sunsets * Good value although afterwards I found others in a similar price range that also offered breakfast * Drinking water provided in room * Good supermarket on road right next to property - better selection than the indomaret which is 10 min walk away (the indomaret contains the only ATM) * Good local warungs on doorstep - & RIMBA cafe is amazing! * host picked us up from Ubud

* you would not want to arrive in the dark unless transferred by the host as it is not signposted and the lane to the beach is unlit * It can be tricky to regulate temperature overnight - AC is cold even at 24deg and there is only a top sheet. * When other reviews mentioned dogs barking and roosters I thought they would be no issue, but they really are ongoing, often howling/crowing throughout the night. The ocean sounds were wonderful but Between the animal noises and temperature issues we did not sleep well. Maybe bring earplugs * It is sad to see the amount of rubbish on the beach - locals simply drop anything on the ground and the plastic litter is everywhere * You need to bring your own hand towel and face cloth (if you use one). Only two bath towels are provided so for a stay of a few nights you are reusing them a lot between shower and ocean! * A bath mat is provided in the bathroom but shower goes everywhere leaving this sopping wet - ground around toilet also gets wet from shower

Great location right on the beach with all we needed. Nice decorated bathroom in natural style, large bed with clean beddings and net arround, water tank with cold and also hot water and we appreciated the large knife with the cutting board so we could enjoy our fruit bought nearby on the main road. Putu is polite and wise guy which can help with transport etc… We stayed for 5 nights and found great restaurant just opposite the homestay called GHasari Warunk so we ate here almost all the time as their price and quality are the best in nearest area. So whole package for pleasant holiday in here…highly recommended :)

I love that it is in the middle of the town, the room have WiFi, really good hot water and water pressure. The most special thing is that, I feel like I am staying at my own private beach bungalow. the place is literally on the beach, sand and the ocean is just right outside of your door.

Could have add more lighting and signage. it was a little difficult to find the place at night.

This place went beyond my expectations. I originally booked for two and stayed five nights due to the location and Putu's friendly and warm hospitality. This is a slice of Balinese paradise that I will be returning to time and time again :)
