It’s gorgeous - gardens with hummingbirds abound. The views from the property, perched on a hillside include the bucolic countryside and the Pisac Archeological Park, across the valley.

La Casa de Oren si trova a pochi chilometri da Pisac, in una zona molto tranquilla e proprio di fronte al sito archeologico. Ben curata sia all'interno che all'esterno offre camere di buone dimensioni ed una colazione di qualità. A richiesta è possibile anche la cena. Detto questo, il vero valore aggiunto della permanenza a Casa de Oren sono Mabel e Nigel. Il loro impegno, la loro disponibilità a soddisfare ogni richiesta, la loro gentilezza hanno reso la mia permanenza come uno dei più bei ricordi del mio lungo viaggio in Sud America.

One of the best places to stay in Peru

Nigel and Mabel were amazing hosts. We really felt taken care of and they suggested an amazing hike for us that really made the trip. The location was a dream, amazing views and it was so quiet and relaxing. Watching the hummingbirds while eating breakfast was my favourite part of the day. The garden was full of beautiful flowers and the spa was awesome and really hot.

El entorno es maravilloso, con vistas directas al complejo arqueológico de Pisac desde el jardín. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, pero lo mejor de todo son los dueños, Mabel y Nacho, te ayudan en todo, preparan cenas deliciosas y nos pusieron el jacuzzi. Fueron muy atentos y cariñoso con nuestros hijos pequeños. Además, el entorno es único, rodeado de fincas con animales y casas de personas que se dedican a la meditación, lo que hace que el lugar sea especial.

one of the best hospitality experiences of my life. View is surreal, breakfast was a feast and really well done, but the standout thing is the genuine sense of hospitality, friendliness, local knowledge, logistical talents and willingness to go above and beyond to help us with ... every aspect of our stay, from days before the start of our trip ... of the owners mabel and nigel. they have totally found their calling in life. also the beautiful garden, hot tub under the stars, fresh cut flowers, cool seasonal fruits around to take and try, were super nice. it's not an ultra luxe eco resort but for the price the value is fantastic and as tourists unfamiliar with the area having such caring and attentive hosts (who also were not at all obsequious) was so fab!

no complaints about anything

Nigel and Mabel have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and personalized. We felt welcomed like family. They prepared many special options as well. And the free ride to the starting point of the Pisac hike was so helpful.

Food portions at meals were so big we couldn't finish everything!

We loved everything about Casa de Oren! From the magnificent views, to the delicious breakfast, the rooms, the friendly and super helpful owners, to the lovely two dogs. It was such a joy to be here! The best hotel stay I’ve had in Peru. Thank you Nigel & Mabel!
