Casa de Oren

The setting is breathtaking and although it feels remote, the owners made it really easy to get to and from, either by driving us or arranging taxis. They were also extremely helpful with suggesting where to go for walks and sightseeing. The breakfasts were lovely and we took the evening meal option too as it’s such a beautiful relaxing place to spend the evening. From the hot tub we watched hummingbirds in the trees

It’s a beautiful Airbnb. It’s nicely furnished with beautiful gardens and a hot tub with incredible views of the mountains and the Pisac Ruins. Casa de Oren is owned and hosted by Mabel and Nigel. You will not find a kinder, more gracious or more accommodating host than Mabel and Nigel. In our opinion they set the standard of excellence by which all other accommodations should strive for! It was very difficult to leave!

Outstanding hospitality and comfort in a superbly beautiful and quiet location. The hosts, Nigel and Mabel, were super helpful and friendly, and went above and beyond, making every effort to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. The property is in the most stunning location in the mountains with spectacular views and beautiful gardens, including a hot tub. You couldn’t do better than staying here.

Mabel and Nigel are truly exceptional hosts. The location and views are spectacular and the quality of facilities are the best we experienced in Peru. You are made to feel at home and Mabel and Nigel were very attentive without being intrusive, and just the most helpful and generous hosts. From the pickup from the town, drop off to the beginning of the exceptional walk, and early drop off to town, Mabel was so kind, informative and helpful. The evening meals were very tasty and the hot tub was wonderful. It was a highlight of our visit to Peru and wished we could have stayed there longer!

The staff was exceptionally hospitable and helpful. They assisted us with many things unrelated to our stay, from giving advice to giving us a ride for a trip to the mountains. The food was excellent. A quiet, peaceful atmosphere and a great hot tub.

The most magnificent views. The most delicious food. The most hospitable and accommodating hosts. The most heavenly wood fired hot tub. The most comfortable beds. What more could a traveler want?!

Absolutely incredible property with breathtaking 360 mountain views. Gorgeous garden filled with hummingbirds and butterflies, luxurious yet homey rooms and yum food. But the best part by far are the beautiful family that run the casa. Nigel and Mabel are so warm and inviting, making me feel completely at home and taken care of, even driving me to different walks and given lots of recommendations of things to do and see in town.
