Breakfast self catered. Not enough jam.No fruit

Lumpy pillows. Wifi only worked if outside. Owner unhelpful

I loved the kind owner and his wife. So sweet and kind. The room is very old, but it has loads of character. So don't expect new and fancy. This room is warm and comfy. How I like it

Not one thing

The bed was comfortable. There was a selection of cereal/croissants left for breakfast.

It was absolutely freezing when we arrived and didn’t achieve a comfortable temperature until around 8pm after we had purchased a fan heater and arrived back at the property about 6:30pm. It smelled like fish.

Heard main house voices and noise which was not good.

It was a decent sized room and the main bed was comfortable

The property was freezing. The heating was an electric radiator that was not big enough to heat both rooms. It got to 14 degrees but no higher, we were all very cold. There was black in the corner of the windows too.

Nothing was to miserable from being cold

There is no central heater though there are radiators. There was one electric heater to heat 2 rooms and the bathroom. After 4 hours of not being able to get the room temperature past 11 degrees I just left as it was Christmas Day and I couldn't stand the cold any longer

Large and two rooms, one a kitchen diner, with microwave, toaster, kettle. Quiet road. Very moderste price. The house was lovely and nicely decorated for Christmas.

The central heating was not in operation and the large modern electric heater provided didn't heat the place quickly or adequately for the season (December) - controls difficult to figure out, needed an idiots' guide really. Also would have liked more bedding available for the sofa bed, as my husband's respirator disturbs my sleep and I used the second bed. Luckily I borrowed some covers from my student son.

Good location for Durham

Bed was ridiculously uncomfortable We ordered breakfast for 9am. At 9:15 we were told by text that our breakfast had been cancelled. Host nowhere to be seen so we left, disgusted. Worst overnight stay ever. Scruffy, uncomfortable dump.
