Great location, very clean & Diana made us very welcome. Would highly recommend the Braidmead House. Rooms were excellent & the breakfast was so worth the money.

The lady who owns Braidmead House is truly exceptional. She personally showed us to our rooms, explained all the facilities, and even came outside to help us park our motorbikes, making sure all four of us had the perfect spot. The hotel itself feels like a welcoming family home. Our rooms were spotless — extremely clean, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. The linen was plentiful and immaculate, and the beds were spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was a wonderful surprise. They took our orders from a proper menu (just like in a restaurant), then prepared everything fresh in their own kitchen. The food was delicious, and the freshly made coffee and tea were excellent. All of this was included in the fixed breakfast price, which made it even better value. I highly recommend Braidmead House for both solo travellers and families. I honestly can’t say enough about how enjoyable our stay was or how kind and thoughtful the lady-owner was throughout our visit.

Everything - First impressions were great — plenty of parking, a lovely building, and a superb host who was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. My company had booked one double room and one single, but after noticing we were hardworking contractors, the owner kindly upgraded one of the rooms to another double so neither of us had to stay in a single bed. A really thoughtful gesture. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had very comfortable beds. Tea, coffee, and a pack of shortbread in the room were a nice touch too. The place has a relaxed, open-house feel, with an honesty bar that was cheaper than most pubs, plus Sky Sports on a large screen in the living room area. Overall, a really pleasant stay and somewhere I’d happily stay again.
