De gastvrouw(en) van deze locatie waren ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een mooie locatie met prachtig uitzicht op de stad. De manor geeft je de mogelijkheid om inhouse te dineren en ook het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid. De accommodatie was ook zeer dichtbij onze geboekte activiteiten. Zeker een aanrader!

Onze reis was in augustus, wat winter betekent in Zuid Afrika. Dit kun je wel merken wanneer je de gardenroute rijdt. Het is rustiger en het weer was zeker net zo koud als een goede herfstdag in Nederland. Ik denk dat als je deze locatie in de zomer bezoekt, dat je dan nog meer kan genieten van alle faciliteiten.

This was our second stay at this amazing boutique hotel, and it was just as great as the first. The staff are super welcoming, and the service from check-in to check-out was spot on. The hotel is in a gorgeous old building that used to be the original home of the famous Thesen family. It’s perched above Knysna with jaw dropping views of the lagoon and Knysna Heads, but only a minute’s drive from all the great restaurants and shops on Thesen Island. We enjoyed their on-site restaurant, which is fantastic, and they’ve recently added a brand new 25-meter pool and a gym in their spacious gardens.

The Manor House is stunning and a lovely place to stay. Sue and Danelle were very warm and welcoming, the rooms are very spacious and classy and the view over Knysna is wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and the dinner was exceptional. A we'll managed venue and although it was very brief, we were always made to feel very welcome and we really enjoyed our short stay.
