Casa Clotide

Clotilde and her husband were soooo lovely and accomodating!! It was a pleasure to have met them.

The owner was so kind and lovely, the rooms were so clean and spacious, and the kitchen was well stocked.

Clotilde was such a delight. She has a great sense of humour and she kept the place immaculate. The view was amazing from the terrace. There are a lot of steps but we were happy about it because we needed the exercise. So happy we stayed in Maiori and met Alfonso and Clotilde.

Everything. Location, comfort, cleanliness, the owners. We’ve met Clotilde, her husband Alfonso and their grandson Alfonso. They felt like family. Clotilde is a fascinating person, very strong, very kind and generous. We enjoyed the perfect Easter cake, the rum baba and lots of things for breakfast. And we were given some lemons to take them home. Grazie mille.

Nothing not to like

An amazing Italian welcome by 4 family members,we felt like we had met with long lost family. Clotilde brought us baked biscuits or cakes every morning on top of all the breakfast goodies, lemons,bananas,oranges,yoghurt left in the fridge,croissants,cakes,biscuits,toasts,teas,coffee,hot chocolate etc on the side. To have a means to cook a meal, make a tea or a coffee at least 5 different ways was a huge bonus. The views were magnificent, the two bedrooms very comfortable and living/kitchen area very homely. We loved our stay and great access to the amalfi coast. We preferred Maiori to Amalfi and didn't want to leave. The 150ish steps were a good workout climbing each day,all part of a unique experience. Thank you Casa Clotilde, we miss you🥰

Incredible ancient house situated in uptown of Maiori. The most gentle and kind owner Clotilde (and her husband Alfonso) greeted us very warm. The bedroom and bathroom are excellent. The sea view from the balcony is exciting. Clotilde made us a great pear pie for goodbye in the last day.

The very high location being accessible only by great number of steps may be hard especially if you travel with much luggage.

Clotilde was the most beautiful host we’ve ever had in our travel life – and we’ve been to quite some places worldwide. She is so unique, and you can not want to hug her.

It was perfect! There might be more fancy high-end design apartments somewhere else, but this is nothing compared to the memories (and family pictures) of Clotilde's apartment. It’s so unique. After 24 hours, you feel like you grew up in this Italian family and never want to leave it behind.

Very comfortable, clean, beautiful view from balcony, quiet, equipped with everything you may need and even more. Good location, 15 minutes walk to the sea, good connection with other Amalfi coast towns by bus and fast ferryes. Beautiful trekking paths to the nearby villages. Very helpful and friendly hosts, Clotilde and Alfonso.
