Casa Clotide

The warmth with which we were received by the 2 wonderful hosts, their kindness, the trust they showed us made us feel at home. Clotilde and Alfonso are 2 simple and wonderful people, to whom we wish good health and only joys in life! Also worth noting is the "botanical garden" on the terrace, very beautiful and carefully cared for by the hosts.

Beautiful Italian home full of character and comfort

Not one thing

Coltilde and Alfonso were a lovely couple of 53 years :) They welcomed us like Italian grandparents. They shared delicious food and lots of laughs. The apartment had a private entrance and was cozy. It was clean and had everything we needed.

Upon arrival we were met by Signora Clotilde bearing a freshly baked, and very tasty, lemon curd cake and a non-alcoholic spritz drink. Her husband had met us in town and led us up the alleys and steps to the charming apartment, with wonderful views over Maoiri to the sea and hills. We were treated like family, and on the day of departure Clotilde had baked muffins and made coffee for us before we left. She was an exceptional host and we conversed in a mixture of Italian, English and French. The apartment was comfortable and airy, and although there are many steps to get to and from the town it helped burn off the calories from the excellent Italian dining. The flat contains an oven, microwave, fridge and a washing machine, so is perfect for self-catering, although we ate out at the local restaurants. Clotilde had arranged a taxi to collect us from Naples airport, a journey of approximately 1 hour, which worked well and made for a quick getaway once we had collected our bags. All in all a lovely place for a break.

Frankly, nothing.

Good location, clean and cosy room with a fantastic view to the town and seaside. There's a kitchen with the washing machine and all necessary equipment. The hostess signora Clotilde was very kind and supportive.

Clotilde and her husband deliver great work. The check in is.great and warm, they offer you a drink and homemade cake. Rooms will be cleaned daily. The view from the room is awesome.

Nothing. But one tip for the future travelers if you come by boat. Before you arrive at Maiori check with the owners for the route to the b&b. The route google maps is offering is really hard. The owners can provide you the alternative and easier route.
