Paradise Forest Garden

We only had one night here. Beautiful location. dinner was a delicious classic Sri Lankan meal and breakfast was a great omelette cooked up by the wonderful Ashoka. The views are spectacular from the top of the hill. Also great view from the pool. Christo was also very welcoming and made our stay as comfortable as possible. He also took us on a bush walk around the property showing us all the different plants, herbs and fruits. If you’re lucky like we were you may spot a few wild elephants as well as the roam the hills around the property.

The location has a history, and the property was only modified as a guest house while keeping the old design. It is unique because of that. The area around the property is very quiet and very green, with many different types of trees/spices. The staff was very friendly, especially the manager (Christo). He contacted us before we arrived to make sure everything was arranged. The food was delicious, and the price was reasonable.

The last few hundred meters to the location was troublesome. Because of the road condition. Still, I don't think it is their issue. Unfortunately, our car struggled.

We had a truly amazing experience here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and comfortable. The food was amazing and the chef made sure the spice levels was too our liking. The pool overlooking the mountains was truly magical and was the icing on the cake for this wonderful property. We wish we had more time here.

Great stay! The place is 10min off the main road which makes it accessible while you have the feeling of being lost in nature. I am a solo traveler traveling with public transport. The bus dropped me on the main road and I walked up to the hotel (but you can also get a tuk-tuk of course). The room was good. The view with the swimming pool is amazing. Cristo, the manager of the hotel, took me for a walk in the forest around the hotel. We also visited the farm that belong to the owner of the hotel. Don't hesitate to ask Cristo for a walk. The staff was nice. The chef made us rice and curry in the evening.

This is a very quiet location, surrounded by jungle. The evening meal and breakfast were both very filling. The host was very friendly.

They added 10 % service charge to the total bill. It is standard to pay a service charge on service but this was the first time we were asked to pay the charge on the room rate and the added taxes. This made it quite pricey overall. There was an ant infestation in the shower. The pool is looking grubby. No seperate towels provided for pool. No signal for the TV.

Dit is een ontzettend bijzonder verblijf. Echt een parel. Locatie, kamers en het personeel, alles is geweldig.

Lokalita! Trochu odlehlé a úplně klidné místo. Kolem biofarma. Krásná příroda. Dokonalý bazén. Výhledy. Zůstaly jsme 2 noci a místo opouštěly se smutkem. Manager nám pomohl s objednávkou auta na cestu dál. Doporučuji.
