Es ist eine richtig tolle Anlage mit großem Swimmingpool. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Die Aussicht ist grandios. Am Besten ist aber der Service und das Essen. Zum Abendbrot gab es eine große Auswahl an Sri Lanka Gerichten. Das Frühstück war auch sehr vielfältig und sehr lecker. Der Manager und der Koch sind sehr herzliche Menschen, haben uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Unser Tuktuk nach Matale hat nur 1000 Rupien gekostet. Absolute Empfehlung! Eine unserer besten Unterkünfte auf Sri Lanka.

We loved our stay at Paradise Forest Garden! It’s a little off the beaten track, but well worth it for the cosy, boutique-style atmosphere that feels more like a homestay. The staff were incredibly attentive, making our experience even more special. The pool overlooks the mountains, creating one of the most breathtaking backdrops I’ve seen. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely hot shower and great water pressure. The real highlight was the staff—so friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in making our stay perfect. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and the amazing, varied dinners prepared by a talented in-house chef. Nothing was too much trouble! A few sun loungers by the pool would have been nice (as there are only chairs or grass), but otherwise, it was perfect! This isn’t ideal for those just passing through or using their room as a base, as dinner each evening seems to be expected. It was perfect for us, but if you plan to be out all day or prefer to eat elsewhere, this may not be the best fit. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Die Crew war sehr nett! Empfang mit Willkommensdrink! Top Aussicht und schönes geräumiges Zimmer. Sehr gutes Essen!

An sich gab es nichts auszusetzen, alle waren sehr nett. Be der Abreise wurde jedoch ein Tuktuk zum Bahnhof organisiert und der Preis mehr als 3x so hoch als die Norm (3500 rupien anstatt um die 800) bei dem wir dann mit dem Fahrer noch handeln mussten.

The track up to the hotel can be difficult so be prepared for that.

Prachtig plek, in de natuur. Lekker bed en mooi zwembad met prachtig uitzicht. Lekker eten, ze hadden niet echt een menu. De kok overlegde in de middag wat we ‘s avonds wilde eten

Was voor ons geen probleem maar het hotel ligt echt midden in de natuur, je loopt niet zo even naar een ander restaurant

Beautiful location with a great view. There is also a lovely pool to relax in. The rooms are fine, with a nice bathroom as well. The staff was very friendly and had pleasant conversations with us. Dinner and breakfast were typically Sri Lankan and well taken care of.

We were a bit unlucky as there was a group of young people next to us who were having a good time and caused some noise disturbance. In the end, we managed to sleep with earplugs. To complete the holiday experience, a few extra drinks with the meals would be welcome, like a beer, soda, or something similar.
