Villa Kalma Canggu

Villa Kalma is the perfect place to stay for a couple of days in Canggu. Very central, walking distance of amazing restaurants, beautiful coffee shops, stores and from La Brisa Beach Club with its fantastic Sunday Market. The team of Villa Kalma is very nice and friendly and they will do everything to help you with everything and to solve all problems. They booked us a transfer from the airport to Villa Kalma, and the driver was so nice that he stayed our driver during 3 weeks in Bali. Putu is just amazing! The pool and the garden are not so big as they seem in the photos but anyway perfect to relax a little bit at the end of the day. The room is ok for a couple of days, simply decorated but confortable.

In the garden, the outside kitchen really needs some renovation works. Everything seems very old, mainly the appliances. No coffee machine and the kettle is very old, as everything else. Don´t think about cooking anything because the stove is really bad, there is no oven or microwave. Inside the room, the TV remote was not working. We changed the bateries but as the tv was not programmed and it was not easy to do it, we stayed without tv all our stay. The hair dryer was also not working. There are no lamps on the bedside tables and there is only one table lamp inside the room. In other words, whenever we want to turn off the light at night, you have to get out of bed. Above all, I think that the negative points mentioned above are quick to solve and not very expensive and all it takes is the owner's will to resolve them. Something that he should really do beacause Villa Kalma could be a spectacular place to stay with all these little problems solved.

Beautiful room, great location - close to both the center and the beach. Walking distance <10mins. Beautiful pool and shared kitchen. Definitely recommend.

Our room needed a mosquito net as there are gaps in the windows/balcony. We could see other rooms that had this so many just an oversight on ours. But other than that fantastic stay :)

One good thing was definitely the location. The place itself is nice but it needs a renovation because of too much humidity…

the smell of mold was unbearable, the windows don’t close properly, never saw the staff

Great location, staff were welcoming and clear with directions. The unit was cleaned daily with the surrounding facilities also cleaned. It is perfect location with being able to walk everywhere!!! I have no complaints

We liked everything from it being clean / great location / quiet and back of the roadway / quant with only 4 rooms in the villas / gorgeous pool / free chilled water / comfy bed and good value for money.
