A pleasant resort with a fantastic team who are always ready to help. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food of the restaurant is delicious. Tip: ask for the mud crab—it’s so tasty! The location in relation to the city’s main highlights is perfect. Everything is reachable within 10 minutes by tuk-tuk.

There was a horrible smell in the bathroom. Horrible. Even after I informed the staff, it was not cleaned

Gunstige ligging in de stad. Ze hebben een fijne sfeer weten te creëren door een prachtige tuin met verlichting aan te leggen. Personeel is heel vriendelijk. Ze kunnen alles voor je regelen; scooter, tuktuk.

Lovely lay out. Owner and staff excellent. Got me a thin duvet extra, no trouble and bring drinks to room. Crab curry, prawn curry and prawn biryani all delicious. Have to have the crab curry. Breakfast- have to order night before, omelet, toast, marmalade or choice of 3 Sri Lankan breakfasts. I have potatoe curry and rotti- very good. Plus a banana and small plate of fruit. Nice sitting out area in front of rooms facing gardens. Or use seating area. SLR 600 for Tuk Tuk to train station. Train running at 6:30/40 to Anuradhapura daily. Get to station about 6 and buy ticket. About 700/- each. Good journey.

Although we had the standard room, everything was perfect about the room, spacious, good AC, powerful shower. The staff were efficient, friendly and always keen to help. We ate at the restaurant every night as the food was so nice and great value.

The staff were exceptional. Really happy to help and always friendly. Our meals - breakfast and evening as well, were exceptional. The open kitchen is a lovely feature; hard working and talented cooks/chefs are very much centre stage!

Rather muddy entrance after unseasonably heavy rain

Super nettes Personal, tolles Essen, schöne Zimmer und eine sehr gute Lage, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Vom Besitzer bekamen wir den sehr netten und kompetenten TukTuk-Fahrer Siva vermittelt, der uns einen ganzen Tag rund um die Halbinsel gefahren hat und uns mit seinen Erzählungen in sehr gutem Englisch das Land und seine Historie sehr nahe bringen konnte. Dabei waren auch interessante Besichtigungen von Hindu-Tempeln. Alles sehr zu empfehlen.
