Gatetrees resort

Nous avons été très agréablement surpris! La terrasse de l'hotel avec ses fauteuils en simili cuir ne nous a pas trop convaincus. Par contre la chambre était vraiment super! Un grand lit très confortable, un coin salon avec sofa et table basse, possibilité de faire thé ou café, télévision, frigo, grande armoire, grande salle de douche avec chauffe eau donc eau chaude! Personnel très gentil et avenant. Un jardin bien arboré. Il n'y avait pas de moustique! Petit déj continental ou sri lankais au choix! À 600m de la gare, proche des commerces et pourtant au calme! Alors il est vrai que parfois il y avait de drôles d'odeurs comme dans plusieurs autres hotels( je pense qu'ils n'ont pas de syphon!) mais en mettant le ventilateur et la clim quelques minutes l'odeur part!

Das Deluxe Zimmer befindet sich im oberen Stock und ist blitzsauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Bad und die Dusche ist gross mit sehr gutem Wasserdruck. Wir haben viel Zeit auf dem Balkon verbracht auf sehr bequemen Stühlen mit Blick in den schönen Garten. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und doch zentral. Ein TOP Hotel mit super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Absolut nichts!

I booked online, mainly because the location is closer to a family I was visiting. I found the staff are very friendly. To my surprise, they had a full-fledged commercial kitchen, which I didn't expect at the time of booking. They were willing to make any dish not on the menu. I had only breakfast, coffee, and tea. But the food was excellent.

Mosquitoes in the outdoors are a pain. This is a problem everywhere in Jaffna.

The staff were absolutely superb . The food was great. If you don't really like modern sanitised hotels this is the place for you.

das personal ist sehr freundlich. das essen/ restaurant übertrifft alles- sehr, sehr gut. sauberkeit ist perfekt. eine super anlage, eine ruhige lage: perfekt!

Location, staff.

Beautiful location and decorated well. Lavatory was very clean and large. Breakfast was good- preferred more of the Sri Lankan style.

Unfortunately my room had a roof leak which caused one of the beds to get wet. There wasn’t a discount offered for the inconvenience.

The room was very comfortable, hot shower available (24/7 a rare find sometimes!) and the restaurant is just excellent. There is a clear effort by the administration and all staff to make you feel at home.
