U Campagnuolo

The staff at U Campagnuolo were exceptional! They made us feel welcomed and the food we had was number one! Ferdinando and his Dad Michele are great humans, always a smile on their face. If we ever come back to Ischia, we will not hesitate to stay at their place, on behalf of my family, thank you so much for your hospitality

All you need for a wonderful holiday in Ischia. Quiet and peaceful place with Michele who will take you when you need with the car to the port. Ferdinando will make you feel at home! Great breakfast!

Breakfast included homemade pastries and a choice of drinks (juice, tea, or coffee). Ferdinando and his father, Miguele, provided a free shuttle service between the hotel and the port of Ischia. But you still can reach Spiaggia di San Pietro withing 20 min walk. The room was spacious and clean, with daily cleaning ensuring everything remained perfect. The bathroom was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. And the views from the hotel were stunning! You can see pale Vesuvius and Castello Aragonese d'Ischia. The restaurant served delicious home-cooked meals. Ferdinando created dishes that were not merely food but stories told through taste. If for some reason you decide not to stay there, the restaurant worth a separate visit. Everyone have to try the rabbit pasta! We decided to have a dinner every time at the restaurant rather than go to the port. It’s a place where you feel welcomed and cared for, making it an unforgettable part of any trip to Ischia. Very fresh and tasty breakfast. The shuttle was provided in a very short time after the request.

The accommodation are located on a hill. But no one is to blame for this, of course.

Friendly and helpful, excellent food, amazing view from room., a very nice experience.

Not expensive for Ischia I guess. Spotlessly clean room which was serviced every day. Air con and WiFi were good. The shuttle service worked well for being picked up and dropped off at the port on arrival and departure and for going back in the evening. Breakfast service was a bit hit and miss but the host kindly gave us an alternative to pastries when we asked which we appreciated.

Long way up a very steep, long single track road so away from everything. Shuttle bus helps and is appreciated but you have to ring and then wait for it and it doesn’t run between 3 and 6pm when we wanted to get back from the beach. Good view but nowhere to sit and enjoy it. You could hear everything from the room next door - normal conversation, movement, even the snoring. Seating area outside room only good for hanging out beach stuff - no effort in making it attractive for anything else. Tiny shower cubicle. Bed not that comfortable. Cheap furniture. Fridge clearly an afterthought.

People very helpful, good value

Very kind staff, daily cleaned clean room, good facilities. The location is perfect, and if you can, choose the rooms with the seaview, as the view is incredible from the hill where the accomodation is located at. They offer a shuttle service (included in the price) between the hotel and the port of Ischia, where all the buses and the ferry goes from. The breakfast offered was also very good.

Everything was absolutely lovely. The location is a 5 min drive with the hotel providing a free shuttle from the port. The views from the hotel are beautiful! The room is a great size and the bathroom has everything you’d need. The hotel has an on-site restaurant, where all meals are home cooked and delicious! The family who run the hotel are all so lovely and welcoming :) I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, and I will definitely try to go back in the future!
