The room was great, shower, etc were very good.

I did not like the fact that booking.com would immediately charge 100 euros if you would have forgotten to pay the tourist taxes. The tourist taxes had to be paid in cash. I barely carry any cash nowadays. Furthermore, the landlady took a picture of the room after she handed over the key. I found this awkward since this is not a sign of trust.

Quiet, very central, good place to stay for a few nights, kitchen with snacks and drinks for guests

the staff, room and general Appartement was lovely! comfortable bed and bathroom was nice.

curtains let in a lot of light in the morning so be prepared for an early start! If I came to Lisbon again I might have stayed in a different area, walking from the apartment to the city centre didn’t always feel the most safe and relaxed, I’m glad I wasn’t travelling alone.

- our room was located on the second floor and the stairs are impossible to climb up if you have bags - the room is VERY hot - the apartment is very small and the bathroom itself is inconvenient, the door is stuck all the time and when we arrived the WC button was not working (it was fixed 2 days later though) - the small window that you have is facing a wall which is like in 1 meter. so this is basically not a window - we couldn't sleep, as just by our window there was some kind of a pigeon's nest and they were making noises all night, every night - the permanent vinegar smell on the first floor - absolutely no soundproofing. you will hear every step anyone takes in that building.

I booked this place very last minute, but it fit the bill for what I needed -- I was working remotely while meeting up with coworkers + needed a place to stay in a pinch. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice enough + for the price in the city, it's really affordable. It was perfect to stay solo + the wifi worked really well.

It took some thought to decide when to leave + come back to the room as the property is up a HUGE hill + then the room I stayed in was at the very top (up like 6 flights of stairs), but I did know this ahead of time so I just planned for it. The location was a bit far from things, but you truly can't beat the price.
