The bar by the door.

Great location in Lisbon, and a great area if you want to go out to the bars that are in the surrounding areas. Despite some noise from the street I would stay again easily because the room was lovely, bathroom was clean and the area was so central. Great value for money I would say.

Check in was a bit unclear but the staff were very friendly and helped us resolve as quickly as possible.

The cleaning and location.

The only problem was the bar below the apartment, they don’t have time to finish, so if you want to sleep early to wake up to enjoy the day is not a good option. The music and people talking are too loud.

Great location in historic neighbourhood, beautiful surroundings, historic tram stop and metro station almost at the doorstep, railway station 5 minutes to walk. The place was clean during all my stay (including the bathroom) and safe.

Staff were very friendly and made check in easy and hassle free. She also gave her mobile number Incase anything was needed urgently. Location was very convenient - a short walk from the metro station. Apartment is situated above a bar, which creates a lot of noise at the weekend. Windows are somewhat soundproof but still can hear the noise outdoors. Apartment is well maintained in terms of facilities and nicely decorated.

We took a room with a shared bathroom and never again. This bathroom was shared with guests.from one other room in the apartment. The usual problems were to be expected - cleanliness and overuse of time spent toileting/showering. We weren't happy with this aspect of out stay. Two of the other rooms have their own bathroom. If choosing to stay at this property, I'd recommend booking a room with a private bathroom. Rooms appeared to look clean from the onset but wasn't cleaned thoroughly. Underneath the bed was filthy. There was a hair clasp and tissue behind lockers from previous guests. Bed cushions were stained. We stayed for a period of 5 days. Not once were our towels changed or room cleaned, which is rather disgusting. There was a cleaner sent to the apartment on a regular basis to empty bins and.cleaned the bathroom somewhat for new guests arriving. Towels need replacing at the very least. Pillows need replacing as they provided little or no head comfort. This apartment has great potential if and only when hospitality is provided to an acceptable standard.

Only thing that was good was location abd spacious room

Where do I start. It is not safe at all. We had all our food stolen from the fridge and had told the property. The first thing she said to me is that it not their problem as it shared placed and the guests might of taken it who checked out. I had enquired about it to the other guests to and found out that no one was home when the food was stolen (this was in the evening to late night) . Also why would other guests steal food when everyone else has their own food. The stuff that was stolen from the fridge was unopened diary products and raw meats so it didn't make sense for a guest to steal it and put it in their own room as it would go off by the morning. When contacted the property again they said the cleaners might have come abd thrown it out. First of all nothing was cleaned in the kitchen and we also found the only thing that was opened ditched outside our apartment on the side. None of this made sense. This means someone who didn't live in the property who had keys (which I was told the property agency and the cleaners had keys) came into the apartment when everyone was out and stolen the food from the fridge. My friend and I was feeling unsafe and violated and asked numerous times that we wanted to check out and find somewhere else, nothing was done even though Ibasked about everyday. (also we could not just leave and book another place, as we didn't have money to find another place). So that ruined our whole holiday and did not leave the house because we thought someone might come inside our rooms and steal something from there. Secondly, just like most other guests had said l, whoever took the picture did miracles of the property. The beds were uncomfortable and the springs were coming out of them. We had back pain every day while staying there. The shower was broken and there was a lot of water coming out of places it should not have been.

The room is large and luminous. The location is very central.

The price we paid is totally overrated ragarding the average quality of the service : 1. The beds : poor mattress, only a duvet and no extra flat sheet (we were in august) 2. The bathroom : no airing, after one shower the room is totally steamy, over hot with bad drain smell = unbreathable and the floor is super sliding (= quite dangerous) because the shower door is in poor condition. Only one poor carpet for the floor that was never changed in 4 days. 3. The shared kitchen : not organized for more than the two people of one room at the same time. 4. The living room : no window, the photographer that took the pics for the site made a real miracle. This room is just sad, dark and totaly useless. Nobody goes there. 5. VERY NOISY : not only because the area is a night life district : you should warn that THERE IS A BAR JUST UNDERNEATH on the ground flour playing very loud music till 3 or 4 every night. It's just impossible to sleep before that time. 6. It's not a hotel, it's not a guest house : it's like a hotel but without reception and staff. It's like a guest house, but without the friendly atmosphere and the contact with local. It's very impersonnal and very standirdized.
