Metro Heroismo Residence

The room was nice, good bed and good barthroom. Everything clean and comfortable The location was great: 20 min walking to the centre, 10 min to the Poveiros square (with lot of local restaurants), a padaria to have breakfast just below and a metro and a bus stop in front. Soundproof, which is really valuable in the location Just a comment for those with car: they have parking and is nice, but outside you need to park in front and you have to pay every other hour.

It was amazingly DIRTY. I have not seen such a dirty hotel in my life. Once when I was brushing my teeth, i literaly threw up, because I had to look at the dirt all over the bath room there (in the corners, lots of old hair in the tube). I will upload the pictures which I took right after we checked-in: there were lots of hair in the bath room and bath tube stock, lots of dust under the bed, lot of mold or dirt in the corners. The window (which was also very dirty) can not be opened in the room and there is no air conditioner, imagine this place when it is over 25 celsius. It was like in hell. No air at all. We could not sleep. We coud not be there in that room. The girl who is working there was rude. I wanted to report this to booking.com,but the girl was so rude, so I got scared that she will steal my money and passport or do any other harm like that. So I didn't. She was really scary. Also, when she was there to clean other rooms, she was using the Wi-Fi of the guesthouse, so we didn't have WiFi at all. Normally we had one stick of WiFi, when the girl was there - no WiFi at all. I used my mobile Internet. When the girl was cleaning other rooms she was speaking very loudly on a loud speaker with her friend or boy-friend, so she was waking us up all the time. No respect to the guests at all. Everything is falling apart: no hoockers in the bathroom, you can't hang the towel, shower is half broken, the hot water stops in the middle of the shower, and then only cold water comes. Everything is very old, and uncomfortable. But it is nothing compared to the dirt and no air in the apartment. It was hell. And yes, i can't say it it so cheap: 60 euros per night. This is my worst hotel experience in 15 years. I don't recommend, i don't recommend, i don't recommend.

the internet only works in the bathroom. there is no Terrance (or not mentioned) like in the ad. there is no fan so it is hot. without a fan the windows need to be open which is very loud being on the ground level on the main road

We came at 16, the hostess told that she need few more minutes to get the room “ready”. She also said she will let us know, when we can come- didn’t happen. Anyways, when we came the bed was done, but the whole suite hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned for a while. HAIR ON THE FLOOR, STAINS ALL OVER THE PLACE. DUST ON THE FLOOR AND CRUMBS OVER THE RUG. They’re way more beautiful places to stay in Porto, unfortunately on our way back it was already booked. Otherwise we would have gone over there.
