Metro Heroismo Residence

The location is fantastic—close to the metro, a café, and a restaurant, and just a 15-minute walk to the city center. We rented a room without a kitchen, but the host kindly provided us with a kettle upon request, which was very thoughtful. There’s also a garage available for an extra fee, which was super convenient. The room is on the ground floor, so you can hear some street noise when the windows are open, but it didn’t bother us at all. Overall, a great stay!

The apartment was in a great location, close to public transportation (metro, bus) and within walking distance of Porto's city center, so we didn't need a car The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. There were also grocery stores and a bakery nearby.

The place is clean and comfortable, owners are very friendly and helpful. The rental is in a great location, right next to a metro station, and in walking distance to great coffee shops and restaurants.

The building was safe. There were decent restaurants nearby.

The contact person was rude and demanded I pay the taxes in the middle of my third day. She told me that there would be consequences otherwise and I had to cancel my plans to wait for her in the middle of the day. Initially it was to be done on my last day. It was 8 euro that had to be cash. I had no wifi in my room as the router didn’t reach. I asked for toilet paper and no response in text from contact person. I had a fan only and it was too hot. There is no terrace available for all rooms. The pictures look deceiving.

Very welcoming staff, even going out of their way to help us in retrieving several days later an item left in the room. The room and private bathroom were fairly spacious, though in need of a little bit of renovation. Good location, just outside a metro station. It takes a 20 minute walk to reach the city center. There is private indoor parking for an additional fee. Overall good value for the money.

Some lamps and electric plugs were not working. The window could not be fully opened.

Понравилось · This accommodation is conveniently located near the metro, just 1 km from the center of Porto, a small town. The place is quite secure, with three doors leading to the room. It is equipped with a shower and towels. To enter, you need to contact the manager by phone (WhatsApp is available), so keep this in mind. There is a market and a Lidl nearby. Although there was no table in the room for eating or working, this was not a major issue. During my stay, the outdoor temperature was between 20-23 degrees, check with the manager how the ventilation in the room works.
