Batad Lhorens Inn and Restaurant

Had a great stay at lhorens inn. She made me feel welcome and prepared with care all my meals which are delicious. Massages and guide tours available as well as laundry service.

Remember that batad has different elevations. Lhorens Is pretty High so not too much effort Is required compared with others accomodations but nonetheless Is 20 Minutes from the jeepneys stop. The bottom line Is take with you only a Small bag

Un super séjour avec un accueil très chaleureux. Les autres sont vraiment aux petits soins et ravi de partager des anecdotes de leur quotidien. La vue depuis le logement est vraiment magnifique.

Point négatif, la mauvaise isolation et donc le réveil par les poules très tôt le matin.

Incredible stay in Batad with an amazing view over the ice terraces. The owners are lovely and make you feel at home. The food is delicious. Very peaceful place 🤗. It's rustic but it's very enjoyable, the rooms are nice and the view is very pretty. You have the possibility to do many hikes around the area. Would come in a heartbeat again 🤗

L’accueil de Lhorens et sa famille était superbe ! Nous nous sommes senti comme chez nous :) L’emplacement est idéal pour partir explorer les rizières de Batad et leurs environs. Nous ne pouvons que vous recommander !

Les sanitaires sont basiques mais tout à fait adapté. Le chemin pour accéder au village est difficile, attention si vous n’avez pas la forme ;)

Ce logement est très bien situé au milieu des rizières de batad et avec une vue impressionnante Nous avons été très bien accueilli dans cette chaleureuse maison Et nous avons pu voir et faire la conception du riz c’était très enrichissant

Attention lorsque vous arrivez à banaue il y a beaucoup de guides qui vont venir vous voir à la sortie du bus et ce n’est pas forcément avantageux prenez de vous même un taxi qui vous emmènera directement à batad et des guides sont déjà sur place pour des prix beaucoup moins chers

If your looking for a welcoming and safe starting place for your adventure holiday in Batad and surroundings, thats the place to go. They were very helpful and hospitable. They help you find the best travel from Banaue to Batad (Jeepney only runs in the afternoon, otherwise you take a tricycle). They find you the right guide for your hikes. They are clean, have good food and habe a nice view on the rice teraces. From here you can take hikes to Takiyah Falls, Cambulo Rice terace and Bangaan rice terace.

The mosquito nets had holes.

Famille Super accueillante et souriante! Lhorens nous a donné des super conseils, nous avons bien mangé, bien discuté et beaucoup appris! Super endroit pour ce déconnecter, il y’a un joli balcon avec une magnifique vue. Attention il ne faut pas s’attendre a avoir tout les conforts de la ville, cependant on aurait pas pu avoir mieux. Le village est accessible uniquement a pied (20 min de marche), il n’y a pas de réseau mais vous pouvez payer une petite somme pour avoir du wifi (ce qui est très bien pour déconnecter un peu!). Les habitants du village sont très accueillant et souriants! Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Merci!

Super schöner Blick von Zimmer. Einfach, aber sehr sauber. Super liebe Vermieter. Sie helfen beim Transport und Touren. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Ich wurde sogar zum Familienfest eingeladen. 1. Its a rare experience to be able and stay amongst the locals in the village. They are very warm welcoming people that are proud of the mountainous jungle rice terrace village living. 2. Keep in mind you are camping in a village. You are getting the to experience in the Batad Rice Terrace first hand. 3. The weather was nice and cool. Cloudy with mist rain followed by sunshine. The low rolling fog in the morning was amazing. It cleared up rapidly just in time for our hike tour. The hike tour is the keystone of the experience.

1. You must be in shape and be prepared for this jungle in the mountains or else it will break you off. I didn't like being a old broken combat vet trying to climb these mountains like I was a young Paratrooper in East Afghanistan. 2. The rosters by my window had no situational awareness of time. They started crowing before 4am and didn't want to STFU. I would have gladly ate them for lunch or dinner for disturbing my sleep. That is not the fault of the hotel, this is the environment you get to experience so embrace it. 3. My back cannot support the sleeping mattress. I had a tough time sleeping do to personal health reasons.
