Good location, comfortable beds, lots of tours to book through the hostel and the free breakfast is great

found bed bugs in the first room I was in. thankfully it was right after I arrived. they moved me to another room that genuinely felt a lot newer and cleaner, but the lack of empathy and concern was a little concerning.

The beds were very comfortable, great location and they let us check in early. The staff were very friendly and helped us book onward travel.

The usual things they run were not on e.g the bar was closed, no dinner and the bus.

The best thing: the experience of the full day tour I took. My guide was Tom, I was the only one on the tour so it was a private motorbike tour. He told me that when there are more people he does it by car or van. He is a local guide, very nice, he knows a lot about the area and the history, about the K'ho ethnic minority that is visited on the tour (and to which he belongs), about the plantations... I could say that it was the best tour I have done in my whole trip, and I have been travelling in Southeast Asia for 5 months now. The girls at the reception are lovely!!! They are learning English, they make a huge effort to communicate and they really speak very well! When they need a little help they use the translator to make everything clear. They were very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was good: you could choose between different options: eggs/french toast with bread (the best option), instant noodles, fruit with yoghurt, pancakes... The rooms: they were clean; each bed had a big locker; there was a curtain, a plug, a hanger and a light in each bed... The bathrooms were fine. They had hot water and were clean. But you could see on the walls, the shower seals, the windows... .... that they need a thorough cleaning.

The drinking water to refill your bottle is on the rooftop (3rd floor). I dont understand why they dont put some drinking water in the reception area.

The facilities are basic but that is what you get for this price. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The view from the rooftop is amazing and the location is great (quiet street, walking distance to restaurants/bars/shops). They offer a couple of tours; I did the full day countryside tour with Tom (which I highly recommend!!).

- The bed was a bit too hard for me - The fan isn’t enough to cool down a room for 6 people - Unfortunately there was no family dinner as there were not enough guests staying at the hostel

Bad breakfast, you even have to pay for drinks although the breakfast is *included" in the price, you don't get towels you have to pay for them, if you stay a few days, you can't get a new towel, you have to pay again, ridiculous. Don't have AC in the dorms, a tiny fan for 6 people.
