The room was quaint and nicely decorated. Easy to find. Access to room was very easy and we came in quite late at night - close to midnight. The owner was very pleasant, responsive and provided all the necessary info prior to check in. The gardens were beautiful. The room and bed were comfortable fitted with an electric blanket and also a heater in the room. Teas/coffees available, a fridge and microwave.

i would have liked a shower - not so used to bathing in a bath with a hand held shower (but I was aware of this when I booked the room). I would suggest a few hooks in the room and bathroom to hang up clothes. I would also suggest some accessible plugpoints on the bedside for charging phones. Having said this, there were plenty of plug points elsewhere in the room so not a huge deal. If you like absolute silence, you must be aware the birds make a lot of noise at night - I didn't really mind it - made my stay authentically 'midland'.

Stairs are narrow and steep.

Very good to stay for maybe a day or two. The loft unit is beautifully decorated and well equipped. I just felt a bit cramped in with the structure of the roof inside, and the stairs leading up to the loft unit are very steep and shallow, making it difficult to carry luggage up and down

The booking was for a quick overnight stay so we did not have much time to enjoy the beautiful gardens surrounding our loft booking. A loft in a beautiful garden setting... Very attractive room and bathroom 2 gorgeous, friendly Labradors!

Bathroom door was faulty. Steps up to the loft could be difficult for older people to manage.
