River Side Svaneti is probably one of the best, if not the best property in Mestia. And as it so happens, it was also the most wholesome, beautiful and rejuvenating place that I have stayed in during the whole of my Georgia trip. This property has cozy, clean rooms, a wonderful common area, a well equipped kitchen, the sweetest kittens, a river, stunning views and a designated camping space. You could literally spend a whole day on the property and still not be bored. The host's family was extremely welcoming and always ready to help. The property was a little removed from the city centre. This according to me was an advantage. But it means you will have to walk 1.5-2km one way which takes about 20 mins if you want to go to the centre to shop/eat/take Marshrutkas. Its a rather pleasant walk but on the occasions that you don't wish to walk, you could ask Akaki, the host if he can arrange a pick up.

Приезжали в этот дом второй раз. Первый раз были в 2022 и нам очень хотелось вернуться и мы вернулись. Как всегда очень остались довольны. Тишина, из окна слышно горную реку и великолепные горы! Хозяева очень доброжелательные. Спасибо за молоко и сыр ну оочень вкусно!

I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse! The location is simply stunning — surrounded by majestic mountains with a beautiful river flowing nearby, it feels like a little piece of paradise. The view alone makes it worth coming, but what made the experience truly special were the hosts. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and homely, and I felt comfortable from the very first moment. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with breathtaking nature and genuine hospitality, this is the perfect place!

family run guesthouse - lovely people and amazing place, the outdoor space is huge and includes a small stream to swim in and relax by in a hammock!
