The Old Forge

The beds were very comfy, bathroom spotlessly clean and lots of choice for breakfast with prompt service.

We were offered an upgrade which in my opinion matched the price paid. I would have been most disappointed if we had to stay in the small twin room that was initially set aside for us.

Welcoming and friendly owners. Nice room and bathroom. Quiet. Good location a short walk from the centre of Totnes. Off-street private parking.

For the price I feel breakfast should have been included, although breakfast was a reasonable additional price and there are plenty of places to get breakfast in Totnes.

It’s so quaint .. the bed was very comfortable .. very cosy .. it was soo clean .. fresh milk was on offer for my tea .. the complimentary hand wash / shampoo etc were gorgeous.. Parking is a real plus in Totnes and finally the breakfast was delicious .

Excellent location beautiful and historic rooms and charming garden. Lovely and helpful host. Great breakfast.

Cute building, very homely

Would have loved a little area outside of the room where we could realx and have a glass of wine (maybe have some background music)
