lovely property, nice selection of vegetarian/vegan food for dinner and breakfast.

The property has a very nice vista, looking out toward Apo island and gets a nice breeze. The property is laid out nicely, with structures spaced out a bit. And I like that the owners are living on site and putting effort into growing some of their own food.

The things that we felt were underwhelming: - Cottages are right next to each other and have paper thin walls, so noisy neighbors are a problem - LOTS of ants in the rooms when we were there biting us in bed while we were sleeping. - Owners did not respond well to gentle feedback - Food was ok (I liked that they had some healthy options), but portions were quite small and prices pretty high for the value (we chose to go to a nearby resort with better food to eat our meals on the 2nd day) - When we arrived, the first thing we were told is that we need to pay a cash deposit of P1k which felt like the opposite of hospitality which we felt was off-putting and should have been in the pre-arrival email. There was also no feeling of being welcomed. - Getting water to drink in your room is pretty inconvenient. No staff to be found, no water dispensers available to customers, no water in the room, and no stores nearby (pretty basic need of guests) We would really recommend that the staff be trained a little more in making guests feel warmly welcomed upon arrival, email guests about the security deposit ahead of time, and be more receptive to feedback from guests rather than getting huffy and defensive when guests kindly share observations. Overall a decent place, but I worry about maintenance and customer experience mindset.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it has been one of the best stays in the Phillipines. Brian and Lea are lovely welcoming owners and hosts and so are the animals there. Brian even took us out on a kayaking tour. The staff is friendly and caring. The food has been remarkably good and we especially enjoyed the home-made pizza with fresh herbs from their garden and also the papaya ice cream was a big hit for us. The place breathes peace, has a stunning view and is well taken care of. If you're looking for a relaxing time in an idyllic environment we can highly recommend this hidden gem.

It was a good place to relax and charge energy after a long travel. The place was quiet as is situated far from the city. The view is very nice, our room was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The owner gave us good tips to enjoy our travel in Phillipines.

The place is spectacular. We arrived on our paddle bikes and were surprised about the location. From our bed we could see the sunrise and with the new moon we went into the pool and gazed at the stars. The Australian and Filipino owners are interesting and warm people. They have several rescue dogs and even a rescue chicken. Nice staff and good food.
