Sehrish Guest House Skardu

Good location and a lovely garden.

There was just a single electric plug working, which was slightly cumbersome for charging my devices.

First of all, Azhar and his family took great care of us and helped us organise everything, from daily trips to all the transportations. The breakfast is nice and the dinner with family was delightful. They always have hot water, electricity and wifi, which is a rarity in the surroundings. The place of stay is amazing, with a big garden. They also organise airport transport. Everythung you could think off, they are there to help. Best stay ever!

The family was really welcoming and incredibly helpful. Was able to rent a motorbike here, got great advice on what to do, they arranged pick up at the airport, drop off at the bus, arranged for me to meet a local guide and even invited me into their home for a lovely traditional dinner. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Amazing guest house / homestay in Skardu. The family it belongs to is extremely kind and accommodating. They arranged and provided virtually all our tours while we were there and were always available to provide any assistance, conversation and information when we needed it. We shared a meal with them as well, and at the end it felt like saying goodbye to friends! The accommodation itself is also good: the beds are comfy, there is always hot water for a shower, there is a UPS backup for power and the internet access is way better than average for the region, as well! The view from the rooftop is amazing and there are friendly cats in the courtyard! The location was for us also ideal: far enough from the center to avoid the noise and dust, but still an easy walk to the restaurants.

Nothing to complain about!

We had a wonderful stay at the guest house. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. The location was central to all the tourist sites and food places plus shopping. The hosts were helpful in planning our daily trips and driving us to all the places. An added bonus for my kids were the cats, goats and chickens next to the garden. It was like having a private petting zoo. We will definitely recommend staying here when you are in this area.

October and November the new rooms can get cold at night so it's better to bring extra layers to keep warm.

Amazing and very clean place with a beautiful garden to relax. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and there is hot water most of the time. I would definietely recommend Sehrish Guest House Skardu and I hope to be back next year.

Very nice family-run guesthouse with cozy rooms and a beautiful garden. The hosts are very helpful in organising tours and took us to some places around Skardu, as hiking to Kharpocho Fort and a very nice hike to Organic village. Also the local food we could try at the guesthouse was very delicious.

Host is very friendly and accomodating The loan is a nice area to mingle with other residents and have some fresh air
