Very convenient for the Naoshima ferry. Really comfy mattress with nice bedding. Useful to have access to kitchen facilities even though no breakfast or evening meal available when we were there

This was the only traditional house I stayed in with screen partitions and my only experience with bedding on the floor. These were interesting experiences.

My first time going to the accommodations, in daylight, I took a taxi who fortunately knew the location. I was glad not to be on foot with my luggage. When he dropped me off, I was uncertain how to access the entrance. For me, signage from the parking area was subtle as a disoriented traveler. That night, I used a walking route. Despite using gps, I was almost lost returning alone in the dark. The next night, my taxi driver had difficulty. Socially, other guests didn’t interact but that might have been because they were couples and circumstance. I kept quietly to myself.

Super guesthouse dans un style traditionnel super bien conservé, l’ambiance y est chaleureuse ! Les communs sont propres et agréables et le personnel est top également :) Proche du port et de la gare JR de Uno (entre 10 et 15min à pied), très pratique pour vous rendre sur Naoshima/Teshima

Une seule douche pour l’ensemble de la guesthouse c’est un peu juste mais en s’organisant (notamment grâce au planning mis en œuvre pour cela) on s’en sort plutôt bien !

The staff are wonderful - so friendly! They picked us up from the train station, gave us lots of info, helped us book a taxi and helped my partner when he wasn't well. The place is very homely - a little bit noisy as the partitions between the rooms are thin, but that is made clear when booking and is not a big issue.

It is a lovely building and the hostess was perfect.
