Jonno, Maya and their dog Mocca are wonderful hosts in this pet-friendly, historic establishment. The restoration of the late nineteenth century home has been tastefully done and guests can enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast in a cosy dining room, next to the open plan kitchen where Maya and her staff prepare meals and bake rusks, bread and croissants. The atmosphere in the main house is sociable, but the rooms are private and comfortable. Its location on the main street means it is within walking distance of Napier shops and restaurants, but the terraced garden overlooks the countryside and is more peaceful. I look forward to staying there again!
