Breakfast was excellent. Location was a short distance from town centre, within easy walking distance.

Nothing could have been improved.

Superb Breakfast. Excellent location to visit surrounding area. Hosts most welcomimg and shared their local knowledge with some excellent suggestions of places to visit.

A birthday weekend away. As soon as you arrive, you will experience the most beautiful guest house with an outstanding rear garden. Parking on site. Bruce (outstanding hospitality host) welcomed us with a warm drink and a sweet treat. Our room was perfect! The photos don't do it justice. Huge shower, bed was so comfortable, large space and perfectly chosen art pieces on the walls. Breakfast was a personal experience...Jeanette is a perfect host. Chatty, knowledgeable and lovely. We had a full breakfast with beautiful touches by Bruce. In the evening, Bruce was kind enough to offer us a lift into town. Leaving this place was hard...this couple make everything personal and the little additional extras were noticed. We'll be back...as Arnie once said.

There was nothing to dislike.

Bruce and Jeannette were lovely hosts, gave us plenty of recommendations for eating out at Alnwick and they were so kind to give us a lift to the train station at the end of our stay. The breakfast was extraordinary. The room was beautiful and the beds comfortable, they even went the extra mile to make it special by decorating it for my birthday.

Property was very well maintained and all your needs whilst staying away had been provided.

Best B&B we have ever stayed in (and we've stayed in many). From the friendly welcome greeting and chat over coffee and lovely home-made cake in the sun lounge on arrival through to arranging early breakfasts on two mornings for us, the overall beauty of the house and gardens, comfy bed, lovely room overlooking the spectacular garden and overall thoughtfulness towards all guests individually, we would say West Acre House cannot be beaten.

Very warm welcome from the hosts. Really pleasant breakfast room and sitting room. Our room was wonderfully clean and furnished beautifully. Delicious breakfast. Both hosts were very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and happy to answer any questions we had.

We couldn’t fault it! I can’t think of anything negative to say and wouldn’t want to!
