Little Swan Guest house

Location close to center, quiet. It was the best homestay we had during our holidays in SL. Best equipped, with toilet paper, soap, kettle, hot water, moskito net, what is not standard in SL and this price category. It was the very first time, that homestay had also information regarding train schedule!

What I missed was a ceiling fan or AC. There was a portable fan available, but it is too noisy and does not really help. During the night I was sweating and it was not pleasant.

Spacious room, fridge for guests, fan was enough to keep me cool!

The Landlady is very kind and cares for Tourists. There is always drinking water. Common Cooking facilities and a big fridge. The rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds with good matress and mosquito nets. Very beautiful tropical garden by the Bentota River and have canoes and Boat Safaris .

The Boat Safari of 1 hour to see only Mangroves is not worth the Money. A German drunk man was keeping everyone awake chatting on the common terrace until 1:30 in the morning and from the room at 1st floor you can hear everything loud as it is open on the ceiling and on the top of the door.

It was a very good place and great for relaxing, but the rooms on the second floor do not have running water in the bathroom, but the management was excellent.

The owners were nice and humble people.

It is not close to the central location. Also it is in an alley. You have to walk/to take taxi for sometime to reach to the hotel. There were cockroaches in the room.

Very nice family, clean room, very tasty dinner and breakfast, I recommend this place
