Little Swan Guest house

We weren't supposed to go to this hotel because of the negative comments but in Bentota there are few budget rooms and indeed the description does not correspond at all to reality and it is not honest! We had hardly put our luggage in the room that they ask you for your passport and to pay! the standard rooms do not have a fan but simple table fan which are not suitable for the heat of this country, so of course we had no choice to take the more expensive room with air conditioning! what a nice trick right ?!!! all the hotels we went to were equipped with a normal ceiling fans. Regarding hygiene There was a disgusting smell in the 3 rooms they showed us and a heat to pass out!, the bath towels were so disgusting that you could mistake them for the doormat, the curtains were stained everywhere the tables were dusty, the rugs on the floor looked like they hadn't been washed in years! they gave first one bed sheet just enough to cover 1 person again we had to ask for another one and they seem to not like us to ask ! and finally there is a bar-restaurant near their house and the music was so loud we had to wait at least 1:00 am to be able to sleep ! in short I don't know how people can write positive comments about this hotel it's very strange ! in short avoid this place if you want to sleep in a clean, quiet and decent place!

At least nature was around us to forget where we were !

One of the best guest houses I stayed in during my trip to sri lanka. Rooms are reasonable and clean. Location is great, close to the beach amd city center with the river right in front of the house. The host are increadibly helpful and polite. They offer travel tips and advice as well always do their best to help with anything you may need. Very nice experiance. Excellent value for money. 100% recommended

no hot water and bathroom not clean, There are cobwebs The room is a partition made of gypsum that isolates it from the rest of the house, and therefore the outside sounds are audible and the privacy is less.

Clean & location was good Have mosquito net that very important Private room whit nice view Come to this place really good & Secure place for holiday but do not order food at this palce

Do not order miss( home woman) to cook for you! Because she bring for you very very cold and ice food not hot not warm!!! How ever i was called to her husband and say him please take ready my food at 9.30 but when i come exactlly at that time food was so ice and cold!!!
