Very pleasant old property with well furnished rooms in the middle of town. Perfect for a large group of us to stay while in town for a wedding.

It was exactly what we needed and nothing more

Wi-Fi didn’t connect. Not an Issue for me as had plenty data Quite dusty in places Street noise from traffic and revellers. No double glazing in bedroom. Had earplugs with me No private parking. Was aware of this and got a good deal at Sainsbury’s a ten min walk away. £8 for 48 hours and you can come and go as you please in that time period. You can pull up outside the property to drop off bags etc

It was centrally based, not too far a walk in to town. The place was clean and tidy.

There were some areas were cleaning could be improved, mostly in the shower, like the grout in the tiles and the shower head.

Excellent breakfast and very pleasant stay.

Location

Being at the very top of the house too many stairs loved the beams but when your husband is 6ft 3 bang his head a few times

Good sized room. Large, comfy bed. Nice window seat

Bathroom was grubby. Bathroom tiles, skirting and coving could do with a good scrub. Bedroom carpet has ingrained dirt and marks, and needs a gd clean. Room was not made up on the 2nd day of our stay, and water and biscuits not restocked. No breakfast available on weekends, though fortunately very good cafe serving breakfast nearby. I didn't like the remote servicing, and lack of a host on site, which resulted in a very impersonal experience.
