Loved the king size bed , winter bedding, nice hot shower, small but efficient kitchen including a microwave, cutlery and crockery, coffee, rusks. A seperate pantry where you can buy extra goodies. Seating outside in the garden, a vineyard outside your window.

We never got in the gate - arrived at 4pm gate was locked sign said pls phone - this went onto answer phone who said send a SMS - we phoned twice and sent 3 SMS and waited 30 minutes. the gate remained closed and no one was there. we hooted and physically tried to Open the gate but nothing worked no one was around and property looked closed so we had to look for other accommodation- after a long drive this was not what we expected from a booking.com property . we eventually spoke to the manager on the phone who was extremely rude, said he did open the gate and that we would not get a refund. It is unacceptable to wait more than 30 minutes with no contact for accommodation that we had confirmed locked outside a property that appeared closed. The manager had no customer service did not apologize and said it was our fault I told him the property was a disgrace to booking.com and he took exception and said I had personally insulted him - so I had a very bad experience with this property

The breakfast was excellent and it met my expectations. The location is also quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the main road.

The walls in our room didnt go all the way up to the ceiling. So there is alot of toilet noise because of that.

Love the fact that this was an old school, all rooms are named after different classrooms, it's so cool. Rooms are beautiful, ALL staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. WOW this was an authentic experience, well done. Breakfast was plenty, affordable and very tastefully.
