The view from the top floor was stunning. It was so peaceful and relaxing after a long walk of the rock. The room was specious and staff were helpful, too.

The food was nice, but seemed pricey (USD 8 ( = appox 2400 rps) for curry) considering the reasonable price I paid for my accommodation. When settling my payment in USD based on LKR, the stuff didn't show nor explain how it was calculated, making me wonder about the accuracy.

シギリヤロックの入口、レストランなどがある繁華街（日中であれば）まで徒歩圏内であること。（夜は野生の象やヘビが出るため、旅行客が暗くなってから徒歩で移動するのは短い距離であっても危険らしい。象は人間を襲ってくることもあり、実際に旅行客が被害に遭っている。）部屋、朝食、立地など総じてコストパフォーマンスに優れていると感じた。部屋も必要最低限のアメニティも揃っており、清潔感もあるため、日本人にはおすすめの宿である。宿から空港までのタクシーも依頼したが、途中のダンブッラ石窟寺院での観光する時間も確保頂き、柔軟に対応頂けた。
