The view from the balcony is priceless!!! Would definitely stay here again. It's a great location! Can swim on your doorstep and walk to many food places etc.

The room could do with a small updo. Lots of steps! Fine for us, but maybe not if elderly

La vue y est incroyable, le personnel très gentil et le petit déjeuner vraiment copieux pour le prix.

Je ne pense pas que cela s'applique à toutes les chambres, mais la nôtre (maison traditionnelle) avait plusieurs points négatifs: Déjà il manquait un lit double, ensuite la maison est très mal isolée donc on entend tous les karaokés du lac toba jusqu'à 02-03 heures du matin. On s'est fait réveiller par des souris toutes les nuits car elles fouillaient jusque dans nos sacs. On entendait les voisins du dessous, qu'on pouvait presque apercevoir à travers le plancher tant celui-ci est vieux et cassé à certains endroits. La maison est aussi traversée de poutres qui arrivent au niveau du visage (je ne suis pourtant pas très grand) comme devant l'entrée de la salle de bain. En bref, évitez cette chambre à tout prix !

The views from the restaurant and rooms are beautiful! The food was really good. The staff were so helpful and anything we asked was no problem for them to organise. It’s in a quiet corner within short walking distance to other restaurants and cafes. Amazing stay!!

Nothing to complain

Owner super friendly and helpful and goes to great lengths to make his guests feel welcome.

There are a bunch of other homestays in the same location and other neighbours. Nothing wrong with that but a dog barked almost continuously while I was there. The nearby mosque is also close by and blessed with a super loud sound system 😀. It’s centrally located for the town and walks but because of the nature of Berastagi every excursion is a hike. Not just the one up the volcano.
