Cleanliness could be improved and a lot of things seemed outdated/not maintained well such as the deck chairs + one night it even leaked in the neighbouring room

Great location, lovely staff and great food. Beautiful garden with views over the lake. Marie and her family were very friendly and helpful and made for a great stay.

Easier access to the lake for swimming is our only suggestion

The owner is such a great host! The lady is the best cook in Sumatara! She makes very good quality dishes, local taste. We rent motorbikes there and asked for laundry service, nothing was a problem. Location and garden is beaitiful.

The view superb facing lake. The room has basic necessities (fan,bed,table,drying rack,towel,wardrobe) and its a good place if u just want to sleep & travel arounds. Very near to restaurant and got halal stall opposite ths homestay.

No iron and got a lot of mosquitoes.

It was just ok, photos on Booking look much better than real accommodation. The bathroom looks old and needs renovations. It was annoying that you can't open windows at all, the owners provided a old fashioned standing fan. This fan was very noisy and had only 2 speeds. No opportunity to swim, the access to the water is terrible. This accommodation isn't in the centre of Tuk Tuk, you have to walk at least 1km to reach good cafes and restaurants. We think, for this price it could be better.

Great hosts, nice food, good beds, cheap and good scooter for rent (120idr per day including gasoline and helmets). Great value for money!

Quite some mosquitos, bring repellant!

- The staff was adorable and helpful. They were three sisters and two of them spoke really well english. They also gave us recommendations for excursions and restaurants! - The room was great and comfortable. We were charmingly welcomed in the room with flowers and swan-folded towels. There is a nice garden offering a great view in the lake. The houses also looked like typical Batak houses which we really enjoyed! - The food they were serving was really great. Our favourites: lemon-sugar pancake and rissole! - They rent scooters which were actually really great! They also have tours and guides available, but we didn’t try it. - The laundry service was qualitatively and quite efficient!

- The Wifi was really slow. It was okay for quick messages but that is all. - Hot water was available but the debit was really weak. - They don’t clean up the room from one night to another (after all, we didn’t ask and I am pretty sure they would have done so if we did!) - AC is a fan which was quite noisy and the air debit was impossible to regulate. It was not a problem for us but probably noteworthy for some people who enjoy some silence.

Very nice and helpfull

There was loud musik from big boxes at the neighbours in the night and on the day.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. They really cared about us and it wasn't even a problem, that we fell one time with the motorbike we've rented at their place. The view on the lake with the sunrise in the morning was really nice. We were able to spontaneously stay longer because we've liked it so much. They also helped us with booking a nightbus to continue our journey. Terima kasih!

At the beginning there were many insects in our Bungalow (mosquitos, flies, ants) so the owners equipped us with an insect spray for free. After using this, it was all clean, but unfortunately there were many dead ants. The staff helped us clean it up, which was really nice.
