Location - close to lake, the area is happening and easy access

It's a great location, simple accommodation, but comfortable. The restaurant tied to the homestay right across the strees serves delicious food and isn't too expensive!

Some things were a bit run-down, bed was really creaky and all the deck chairs were broken outside.

Location was really good - middle of TukTuk, on the shore line of Lake Toba. Few minutes walk to good selection of nice restaurants. Accommodation was nice but the very best aspect of our stay was the fantastic hospitality and kindness of our hosts. Very friendly & helpful The family run a restaurant across the road from the homestay and we had breakfast there most mornings & dinner too - the food was delicious. Really enjoyed our stay at Leokap homestay & definitely recommend it

Nothing to do with the lovely hosts but worth working out how to get about the island. It's a lovely place but need transport organised - hire a scooter or do as we did & book a driver for the day. Not expensive & we saw all the sights.

Really lovely central location, walkable to restaurants and other stores, and place is as described with beautiful lake view. Staff is also very friendly.

The property does not have immediate access to swim in the lake (the property surrounding it does, for example). However this wasn’t advertised/promised, just a note for folks!

Toom and bathroom look tired. Can be noisy from road

Marintan was the most welcoming host. Got there at 9am and was able to check in early at no additional cost. Location is great as the ferry drops you off very close by. All our needs were met with incredible care and attention including when I got stung by a hornet and she provided some lotion and reassurance. The food was also exceptionally good. Can't recommend this place.

I got very sick, which is no fun, specially as a solo traveller, and the ladies at reception helped me sooooo much. The younger sister drove me to the emergency room and even cooked and fed me some rice while I Could barely move. They brought me the food to my room, and where flexible and helpful with everything. Plus, the room is in perfect conditions, with nice views to the lake and close to everything (how shower was highly appreciated)
