Uluwatu Kayana Bungalows by Bukit Vista

Kayana Bungalows is perfectly located between Pecatu and Uluwatu. In a nice quiet gang with big rooms and a lovely swimming pool with heaps of green, trees and frangipanis. The staff was absolutely amazing and took care of me.

I did not enjoy the communication with Bukit Vista. I wanted to extend and I understand that they are an agent of the property owner but a bit more hospitality insight would have been nice. The staff on the groud is great, I just see an owner trying to get the most visibility of his property on booking.com and I feel that a big company like Bukit Vista that automises all their communication works for them to fill their rooms but not live out the true Balinese experience and how genuine the Balinese people are.

Camera bella, spaziosa e pulita. Bagno ampio e comodo, bella anche la piscina e gli esterni. Non fanno la colazione ma c’è una cucina in comune con attrezzi, stoviglie e acqua purificata.

La struttura non è vicino a nulla se non ad una spiaggia, ma con un grab o gojek si raggiunge tutto in pochi minuti

Hele fijne, rustige plek maar dichtbij allerlei winkels en restaurants. Mogelijkheid om een scooter te huren. Kamer was super schoon en faciliteiten waren top. Leuk plekje om buiten te zitten en top zwembad.

The location

The facilities inside the room. No hand jet spray and the wash basin was too high for the use

The pool was amazing, very clean and gets lots of sunlight. Staff were friendly but it was difficult to try find them on arrival and for check out. The room was very spacious and even thought they are glass doors you’re covered by the trees so everyone can’t see into your room

There was gaps in the roof in the bathroom. I didn’t realise at first but I did see the largest gecko of my life and gecko poo on the floor as the days went on. Keeping the bathroom door closed the whole time solved the problem of anything else getting in. The room itself was fine

Booking got cancelled by accommodation last minute. No help to get a refund, bad communication from their side. On the date of my expected arrival, they asked me where i was, while they cancelled the booking.

Started really loud construction early in the morning which was very frustrating as I chose here to rest and sleep and relax

Lovely little bungalow quite out of the busy part of the area but is a short moped ride to the town. Nice man running the place would stay again.
