"Tantamount to perfect after a long and wet drive."

Just about everything.Good clear instructions on how to get there. The space was more than ample with some exquisite touches.Very elegant fixtures and fittings.The separation between bedroom and bathroom was welcome.I am very poorly sighted and nothing was difficult. A few yards only from car to entrance to a very private space in a lovely garden and house.

The breakfast was of high quality served by Jane in the beautiful dining room. The bedroom was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was perfect!

I could not find anything to fault.

The house is lovely, quaint & quirky, love the history of a building. Wedmore has lots of lovely cottages/homes with stunning brickwork, lots of beautiful countryside & scenery, just what we love. Only a 10 minute drive to Cheddar Gorge, where we spent the day. Wookey Hole only 20 minute drive too.

Lots of small country lanes for cut throughs to places, I was OK slightly nervous if you don't know the lanes driving them, just go slower as saw many walkers, horse riders, joggers etc.

The room was large, very comfortable and well equipped. The surrounding garden was delightful, the lavender bed with all the bees buzzing in it was a highlight for me. The property itself had a lot of character, and was in a rural location. Jane was a fantastic host, communication was excellent and the premises and facilities were accurately described. Breakfast was delicious and of a good size.

It's next to a road that is busy during the day so the room gets some road noise but nothing that prevents the room from being restful and comfortable. At night the place is deathly silent except for the fridge occasionally coming on. There is a pub nearby, but it's not easy to walk to as the road has no sidewalk, hence you'll need a car.
